Welcome to Cast for Life! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our 3D hand and feet Keepsake life casting services for all age groups. By accessing and using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using our services.

Cast for Life may change the terms on this page anytime. You are responsible for staying up-to-date with these changes.

Service Description

Cast for Life specializes in creating 3D hand and feet life casts for individuals of all age groups.

Appointment Bookings

  • To book an appointment, you must provide accurate and complete information through our online booking system or via phone call. By booking an appointment, you confirm that you are authorized to provide the information given.
  • We reserve the right to decline or reschedule appointments based on availability and logistical considerations. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred date and time.

Late Arrival Policy

  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, Cast for Life reserves the right to cancel the session. Late arrivals may impact subsequent appointments or leave insufficient time to complete the session within the allocated appointment time. In such cases, the deposit will not be refunded.

Pricing and Payment

  • Our pricing for 3D life casting services is clearly stated on our website or communicated to you during the booking process. All prices are in CAD and are exclusive of applicable taxes and fees.
  • Payment of $50 is due at the time of booking to secure your appointment. We accept cash and e-Transfer for all transactions.

Cancellation Policy

  • If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture the booking payment made.
  • If you need to cancel your appointment, you may be eligible for a refund depending on the timing of the cancellation. Please refer to our refund policy for more details.
  • In the event that Cast for Life needs to cancel an appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule at your convenience or provide a full refund.

Keepsake Maintenance

Your keepsake is designed to last a lifetime if cared for properly. To preserve your keepsake, please follow these guidelines:
  • Wash and dry your hands before handling freestanding casts.
  • Keep the keepsake out of direct sunlight and away from UV exposure, which may cause fading or discoloration over time.
  • Avoid exposing it to extreme temperature fluctuations, as this can cause cracking or warping.
  • Clean the keepsake with a soft cloth or brush to remove dust or debris.
  • Do not use harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or solvents that may damage the keepsake.
  • Keep it away from heat sources, water, and high-moisture areas, such as bathrooms, to prevent damage, as prolonged exposure can cause discoloration and deterioration.
  • Do not store the keepsake in a location with high humidity, as this can lead to mold or mildew growth.
  • Avoid contact with pets, as their saliva can contain oils that may damage the keepsake.

Repair Policy

  • If your keepsake requires repair, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss the issue and how we can assist with the repair. We understand that accidents happen and are happy to help where possible. However, please note that repair work may incur additional costs, depending on the extent of the damage. If the repair is needed due to a fault on our part, we will cover the repair expenses. For accidental damage, we offer a discounted repair rate within the first six months of purchase.

Consent and Release

  • By engaging in our 3D life casting services, you grant Cast for Life the right to use images or videos of the casted artwork for promotional and marketing purposes.
  • You agree that Cast for Life shall not be held liable for any issues arising from the use of images or videos with your consent.

Liability and Indemnification

  • While we strive to create high-quality and accurate life casts, Cast for Life shall not be liable for any minor imperfections or differences from the original body parts.
  • You agree to indemnify and hold Cast for Life, its employees, contractors, and affiliates harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from the use of our services.

Intellectual Property

  • All intellectual property rights associated with our 3D life casts, including designs and artwork, belong to Cast for Life.
  • You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our copyrighted materials without explicit permission.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Alberta.
  • Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Alberta.

Modifications to Terms and Conditions

  • Cast for Life reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
  • It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for any changes.
